Internet, I have an important question for you.
It has been established that I do not like my birth name because it is overtly female, but I have also established that for the most part I don’t mind being female.
I’ve been going by Hunter because a) it’s a cool-ass name and b) it’s kind of gender-neutral, but the more I think about it the more it’s just kind of complicated? Because explaining that away is weird and people look at you funny and it’s just awkward at a place that ISN’T AN ART SCHOOL.
SO I HAVE BEEN THINKING.
My middle name is Michael. And i know I was going by that for a while and I’m thinking about going back to that. Either Michael or Mikey or whatever. Because it’s less-complicated and more socially acceptable and srsly if you introduce yourself as Mikey to a guy he’s sure as hell gonna remember the chick named Mikey.
So, Tumblr. This is the last time I’m gonna talk about changing names. I swear. Which one should I go by? Hunter or Michael/Mikey?
